Dr. Kevin Sanders has been the pastor of Apollo Heights Baptist Church since October of 2016. He previously spent 11 years as a missionary in the Philippines. Kevin and Mare Cris met and married during his ministry in the Philippines. They have been married since 2012 and have one son.
Mare Cris serves the church by leading worship every Sunday morning and assisting with many other behind-the-scenes ministry tasks.
